About Logan

Hi! I’m Logan!

It’s nice to meet you.

A bit about me: My name is Logan and I am currently a Junior in High School in Southeastern Michigan. I have been a Michigander for all of my life and I plan on continuing that into my adulthood–I love my state!

I find myself to be a very active and participatory individual within the Southeastern Michigan community. I am employed both for Storypoint Senior Living group as a self-proclaimed “tech mastermind” and am also employed at a local parish within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit, where I serve as the coordinator for liturgy. Additionally, I teach 5th grade Catechism at that church.

In my “School Life,” I am the president of my debate team and have twice gone on to the state finals for the Michigan History Day competition (you can view information about MHD on this website!). I also am a newly-inducted member of the National Honor Society chapter at my school and frequently participate in leadership opportunities therein.

Some honors I have received are:

  • Participant in the iCivics Carnegie Youth Fellowship as a Fellow – 2025-2026 School Year
  • Participant in the iCivics Carnegie Youth Fellowship as a Mentor during the 2026-27 School Year
  • Honor Roll and Principal’s List recipient during the past 2 years of my high school career
  • Congressional Debate “Presiding Officer” award for the championship meet (first ever Sophomore to do so!)
  • Participant in the 2025-26 Civic Learning Week panel “A Conversation with Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States”

US States I’ve been to: Michigan, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Nevada, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee

Countries I’ve been to: United States, Canada, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands
